Ho ho hum

Don't get me wrong. I am grateful to have a jobby job. A jobby job that I like, working with people that I like. But here's what I am not grateful for: a lack of vacation time. Since half of Columbus is already at home, traffic is nil. Which is lovely. Except when you consider the reason for the lack of traffic is that the rest of the world is on vacation while I am driving into work.

Tomorrow will be torture. Not only will I will be working all day, I will be working all day from home. Which in one sense is great - I'm working from home! But in the "realistic" sense - I am working from home on the day before Christmas weekend. (I have Friday off - yay - but "working" all day on Thursday while at home just may be a new form of torture.) Please send me strength.

At least you're not going to work and commuting an hour each way in a subway full of rude smelly people and not-meaning-to-be-but-still-being-rude-without-knowing-it tourists like me, right? And you can wear pajamas! Happy Christmas Eve Eve!
