RUN LIKE THE WIND!!!

Before I head off to the hills for the weekend, I want to take a moment and send some awesome running vibes to my bestest buddy and most awesome running partner L. As I type this, L is on her way to Richmond, VA to run the SunTrust Richmond Marathon.

L is probably the main reason I am still running today. She asked me for years to run with her, and I said NO for many of them. L is one of those people who finds peace, solace and therapy in running. I used to think that was "weird", but now I totally get it. Because she taught me. I still don't love the beast as much as she does, but I am getting there.

Tomorrow she toes up to the start line to run 26.2 for the first time in her life. I am so proud of her for not only making it through all the training it took her to get here, but for being brave and doing this on her own. You've had an "interesting" year to say the least, and I hope this proves to you once and for all - YOU CAN DO ANYTHING! You are an amazing woman and a great runner. Darling, I wish you the best, and I can't wait to hear how it all went.
