We have a new family member!! She is somewhere between 2-4 years old, 9lbs, and positively beautiful. Hubs and I have talked about getting a dog for a while but have always managed to talk ourselves out of it. After stopping by the Licking County Humane Society's "Pet-a-palooza" this past weekend, we talked ourselves back into it. The result? Betsy.
Betsy is a rescue. She was surrendered when a puppy mill/breeder had a fire and had to get rid of several animals. Betsy ended up at All Tails rescue along with several buddies/realtives. As mentioned prior, we think Betsy is anywhere from 2-4 years old and maybe a Shih Tzu-Pekingese-Cockapoo type mix!!!
We want to thank All Tails R Waggin Grooming/Boarding/Rescue for their fantastic service and prompt review of our application. We met Betsy on Sunday and had her home on Wednesday night. She is already settling in very well! The kitties aren't "thrilled" but Buddy and Scout slept in their same places on the bed last night - even with Miss Betsy stretched out at the foot of the bed. Miss Allie, on the other hand, is in full revolt and hiding. We hope she comes out soon.

As you can tell, she is already very much at home :-)

Nice rescue. Both are dogs are abandoned guys, who my wife could not pass up.

Getting my doggie from the shelter was one of the best decisions I ever made.
So cute! We get all of our dogs from the local shelter. Adorbs.
