How did I miss it? 100+

WOW!  I have 100+ followers now!!!  When did that actually happen?  I actually have 102 as I am writing this, so who knows how freakishly overdue this post is.  But really - 100+ people? AWESOME! Thanks to everyone for your readership.

Not a ton to report here at the moment.  Now that I have kicked the horrible cold bug that was embedded in my system, I am full on back into training.  I also received official notification yesterday that I am the brand new coordinator for the Cycling Club at Lifetime Fitness Easton.  I hope I haven't bitten off more than I can chew - but the gym was looking for someone with passion about the sport and for the people who ride bikes.  That's me.  My first duties will be to plan some 2 hour spin classes for the transition into Spring, then some brick workouts between run and cycle club.  Once the weather decides to stay warm, I'll be leading group rides every 9 days or so.  It will really force me to get out there and RIDE.  No doubt that by the end of this summer I will be a 100% legit cyclist.  There are going to be some adventures, I bet!

Swimming is going fine. Running is going fine.  Spinning is going fine.  I'm chomping at the bit to start riding outside.  I need to get my road legs back, and that does NOT happen on a spin bike.

teamroll: multisport is also coming together very well.  We have eight people on the team as I write this, and a certain famous blogger and I will be doing a recruiting session this Saturday for the team.  For Year One we were really hoping to have about 10 people on the team.  If we snag another couple folks (preferably dudes at this point - we have some amazing ladies on the team this year), we are at the goal!  Very exciting.  If you are in the Columbus area and interested in learning about teamroll: multisport, stop by the Lane Avenue store anytime between 10am and noon tomorrow.  We would love to say HEY and tell you about the team!!!!!!

Congrats on your new position! That sounds like something I would really enjoy. I guess if I can snag a job like that here in Colorado!

Glad to hear you are feeling better!

Thanks, ladies - the Lifetime gig is part time, so I will still keep my 40 hour per week job. Nonetheless, it's a step in the right direction!

Congratulations on being chosen as the new Lance Armstrong of Lifetime Fitness! That's really cool, and you're going to do such a great job. I hear ya about getting the outdoor road legs back. It takes a little while even if you've been riding all winter long... Have a great weekend!
